Mission or Goal of Unit : The Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) seeks a pediatric hematologist/oncologist with interest in benign hematology and coagulation. The division aims to be a model academic unit dedicated to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. Chief Purpose of this position : Support the division in patient care for new and existing patients. The division is part of the NCI-designated Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and includes a multidisciplinary team with dedicated APP, social worker, nursing, and administrative support. The division also offers a Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship. Position Responsibilities: Teaching: Provide education and mentorship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology to students, residents, and fellows. Research: Engage in basic, clinical, translational, and outcomes research. Service: Participate in departmental, hospital, or medical school committees and professional activities. Clinical: Serve as a pediatric bone marrow transplant physician. Required Qualifications: Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Experience in fostering a diverse environment or commitment to do so Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an academic medical center Interest in coagulation and benign hematology Seniority level
