American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a general ultrasound assignment requiring ARDMS certification and critical care or telemetry background.Job Details•Work in a general ultrasound department in a hospital setting,•Patient population includes an average daily census of 10-12 with a 1:4 to 1:5 patient ratio,•Day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four 9.5-hour shifts per week,•On-call responsibilities include 1 night per week, 2 nights during the third week, and 1 weekend per month,•Floating required within the scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius,•No block scheduling available,•Uses Epic for charting,Job Requirements•Minimum of 2 years experience in general ultrasound with critical care or telemetry experience,•Current ARDMS certification required; ARDMS RVT, RDCS, or RDCS - RVT preferred,•License required if applicable,•Must provide a valid driver's license or state ID and a utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months,•Permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted,•No license or disciplinary hits acceptable,•No pending state licenses accepted,•Two supervisory references required,•Copies of certifications must be provided,Additional Information•Responsibilities include performing general ultrasound procedures for a varied inpatient and outpatient population,•Orientation modules are required and will be completed during onboarding,•Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) accepted per 13-week contract with no holiday RTO allowed,•Must be willing to float as needed, including to other facilities within the health system and within a 75-mile radius,•Candidates must be separated from prior employment at the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible,•First-time travelers are accepted,•No block scheduling or holiday RTO is allowed,],•hash,:•12595350570531619094,
