Job Title: Production PlannerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Production Planner to coordinate and manage engineering changes, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and the Material Planning team. This role involves analysis of BOMs/MBOMs, collaboration with NPI, and driving accurate demand through SAP.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and track upcoming engineering changes for effective dates between internal stakeholders and the Material Planning team.Analyze BOMs/MBOMs and coordinate with NPI to ensure accurate SAP information to drive proper demand.Work closely with the supplier base to ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance.Create and align implementation timelines to review and report material readiness of new part numbers for upcoming programs/models.Participate in and evaluate launch processes for new models to ensure proper implementation.Collaborate with MM Material Master to implement effectivity dates SAP settings.Coordinate with Supply Chain NPI PLM GSM Planning Operations, as well as Finance, Packaging Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Marketing, Service, Sales, and Programs to communicate changes effectively throughout the business segment and operations.Plan launch phases with Vehicle Program Management and Supply Chain to review suppliers' lead times with Material Planners.Provide necessary information and communicate material data changes throughout the organization in a timely manner.Drive timely and accurate project updates and launch/new programs timelines using expertise to solve potential issues or delays through escalation processes.Manage other projects or assignments as needed.Drive continuous improvements and optimization to meet KPI metrics.Essential SkillsProduct lifecycle managementSupply chain managementSAP knowledgeManufacturing process expertiseProduction planningProject managementBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent combination of education and experience3-5 years of related experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a project management roleStrong MRP/ERP knowledgeAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in New Product Introduction, Product Lifecycle Management, BOM, and Supply Chain operationsProficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate and analyze data to present clear recommendations to leadershipExceptional ability to interface and collaborate effectively with individuals, groups, and suppliersWork EnvironmentThe role involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on collaboration across various departments. The position requires proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, SAP systems, and other project management software. Expect a fast-paced atmosphere where attention to detail and communication are key.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
