The Department of Orthopaedics at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a Physician to help continue our excellent patient care. Appointment at the level of Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor is available, commensurate with experience. Compensation is highly competitive. A Brief Overview Provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within a recognized area of practice or for a specific patient population. What You Will Do Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a specified patient population. Prescribe pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate. Refer patients to specialists and relevant care components as needed. Train and supervise medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures. Manage the daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function (if applicable). Coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff. Follow departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including quality improvement and safety standards. Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as appropriate. Maintain department productivity thresholds. Maintain faculty status with CWRU SOM (if applicable). Adhere to core physician obligations outlined in the Physician Policy Manual. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Follow documentation and training requirements related to PHI and workplace conduct.
