Sanford Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an integrated practice including a team of 9 cardiologists, 1 of whom is Advanced Heart Failure Certified, and 3 Cardiothoracic Surgeons. The ideal candidate will participate in developing a LVAD and ECMO program, manage inpatient ECMO, LVAD, and cardiogenic shock cases, and maintain a robust general non-invasive cardiology practice, including dedicated outpatient clinics for advanced heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. The group provides services across inpatient, outpatient, and outreach locations with nurse practitioner support.
The position includes a general cardiology call schedule of 1:9. Join a team with a well-established heart failure program that offers consultation and longitudinal outpatient management for patients with advanced heart failure, as well as those with acute and durable mechanical support devices. Experience in medical device management for advanced heart failure patients is preferred. Our team actively participates in over 20 clinical trials, encourages research, and presents regularly at national meetings. There are opportunities for clinical education and research with fellowships in general and interventional cardiology within a university health setting.
Compensation Package:
