Job Overview:
Responsible for independently designing and building reports that lead to increased efficiencies in delivery of care as well as improvements in the quality of the care we deliver.
Qualifications:
Required:
AS Degree
Knowledge of various computer software packages essential
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in healthcare, Computer Sciences, or Business from an accredited 4 year university.
Prior experience with visual basic and other SAS platforms
Prior experience in writing business and IT specifications
Proficient in performing data analysis, querying data bases, and utilizing SQL query tools
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, pivot charts, pivot formulas, Power Pivots, and Power Queries
A thorough understanding of best practices for efficiently working with very large data sets in Excel
Intermediate understanding of Tableau or other BI reporting software
Certifications and Licenses Required:
N/A
Essential Functions:
Lead users in defining existing or new processes and recommending solutions and improvements in data management and visual display
Serve as an accessible liaison between users needs and the Strategic Improvement Department
Gather and document requirements and business processes as they pertain to report development, interfaces, and data
Responsible for maintaining newly created reports and provide troubleshooting and modifications
Responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and modifying any reports distributed to CSH key stakeholders
Independently develop project work plans
Independently document workflow processes
Create end user training material and operational documentation and train end users when appropriate
Conduct analysis of alternatives, recommendations, and data mapping
