Founded by SpaceX engineers Noah Schochet and Noah McGuinness, we apply rapid iteration and engineering first principles to transform the construction industry. Based in Austin, TX, our 'Robot Ranch' facility is equipped for mechanical and electrical development, testing, and deployment.
We seek an owner for Mission Control, the operator hub for our robotic systems.
What We're Seeking:
Innovators eager to make a significant impact, thrive under pressure, possess versatile technical skills, and are quick learners willing to wear many hats.
The Role:
You will develop software to task, supervise, and interact with autonomous robotic systems, focusing on full-stack development of intuitive interfaces for remote heavy machinery control. Responsibilities include prototyping real-time data visualizations, building data pipelines for sensor data, and ensuring system security and scalability.
Responsibilities: Design high-performance user interfaces for robot control Create real-time visualizations for sensor data Implement secure, reliable communication protocols Maintain scalable backend systems Collaborate cross-functionally and iterate rapidly Lead and mentor team members Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's in CS, Software Engineering, or related field 3+ years full-stack or application development experience Proficiency in modern UI frameworks (React, Vue.js, Unity, Unreal) Strong understanding of networking principles Experience with Linux-based systems Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience with real-time data systems and low-latency protocols Knowledge of data visualization and 3D/Geospatial data Game engine development experience Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms Understanding of cybersecurity best practices Proven prototyping skills and autonomous work capability Additional Requirements: Willingness to work extended hours and weekends Willing to relocate to Austin, TX Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range $120,000 - $180,000, with equity, relocation packages, and a dynamic work environment. Seniority level
