Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
NovaCare's outpatient orthopedic center in Mitchellville, MD is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. We treat a diverse orthopedic of various diagnoses across patients of all ages. This is a full time 40 hour work week (no weekends) that will require two nights treating until 7PM. Last patient is scheduled an hour prior. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. Schedule: 40 hours treating Monday through Friday with two days treating until 7PM. No weekends.
Compensation: starting at $27.00/Hr.

Responsibilities: Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures. Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications: College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program. Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE. Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process). CPR certification.
