Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT), internally referred to as our Rehabilitation Therapist or our Inpatient/Outpatient Physical Therapist. Shifts Available: Days

Employment Type: Per Diem/PRN

Hours: 8 hour shift

Location: Saint John Hospital, Leavenworth, KS

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • Provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and/or integumentary disorders
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements
  • Function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Qualifications

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progress
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

  • One year of outpatient orthopedic experience
