Job Responsibilities
Position Summary
Delivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0 to 21 years

Job-related department responsibilities
Position Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide treatment for 10 12 patients per day
- Supervise student interns as directed by Manager
- Conduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develops and reviews patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
- Participates in clinical quality assurance initiatives
- Provides patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
- Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including but not limited to:
- Daily notation of therapy
- All progress reports with updates
- Rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences
- Other activities that may be assigned from time to time, i.e. splinting
- Comply with established ESCR, Inc. policies and procedures re: quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments etc.
- Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activities
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's/or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with NYS License as a registered Physical Therapist. Must maintain license in good standing.
Experience
- Experience in clinical pediatric environment
