Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate press brake machinery for metal fabrication
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Measure and inspect parts for accuracy and make necessary adjustments
- Label and organize finished components for tracking and workflow
- Use computer systems to access drawings and complete job functions
- Maintain an organized, safe work area while meeting production and quality goals
- Communicate job status effectively with team members
- Assist in training new operators to ensure smooth onboarding
Requirements:
- Experience operating press brake or CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and understanding of machine operations
- Basic computer skills to support production tasks
- Familiarity with CNC, press brake, laser, or punch equipment preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and safely handle materials up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
