Welder Fabricator Specialist
A welder fabricator is responsible for creating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques and fabrication processes. Will operate various welders, overhead cranes, forklifts, power and hand tools. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques using both aluminum and steel, be able to read blueprints, follow production procedures and have a keen eye for detail. Be able to consistently produce quality work within the allotted time. They will be able to maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure that our products meet our high-quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Constantly engaged in producing quality products by following verbal or written instructions.
- Collaborate with team members to learn or improve processes
- Ensure work area is maintained to cleanliness and organizational standards
- Always follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
- Contribute to a positive work environment and promote a continuous improvement culture.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Operate various welding and fabrication equipment, including grinders, saws, and welding machines, ensuring they are maintained in safe working conditions.
- Inspect and test finished products for defects, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Experience welding MIG, TIG on aluminum and steel.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
- Knowledge of metal properties and fabrication tools.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to work with others and take direction.
- Good communication skills.
- High School diploma or technical school accreditation relative to welding or fabrication.
