Seeking physical therapist , who enjoys spending quality time with patients and is eager to enhance their clinical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluates patients, plans treatment programs, and performs physical therapy procedures to restore function, prevent disability, reduce pain, maximize potential and quality of life following disease, injury or surgery.
  • The Physical Therapist will assess, identify, and treat all areas of deficits impacting posture, locomotion, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, joint mobility, flexibility, pain, and functional abilities.
  • Demonstrates and articulates sound clinical reasoning in synthesizing complex evaluation data and developing a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Develops and updates appropriate plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family/medical provider and related to the person's age and lifestyle with measurable goals and a defined discharge plan.
  • Selects and administers appropriate assessment and treatment techniques.
  • Follows intervention protocols and revises interventions appropriately. Interventions are outcomes focused and consistent with best practice and policies.
  • Actively participates and collaborates in all aspects of the rehabilitation process as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Participates in departmental programs and activities and serves as a role model of quality clinical practice.
  • Supervises work of support personnel as needed.
  • Will be responsible for participating in weekend rotations.
  • Must work at least one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) a month.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program with either BS, MS or Doctorate degree
  • Valid licensure with the State of North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy.
