Cnc Machinist Job

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the setup, program adjustments, operation, and quality monitoring for CNC Mills in the machine shop. The Machinist will take work orders and blueprints, collect and set up all tooling, adjust speed and feeds in GibbsCAM programs, and run both short and long-run production of machine parts and firearms for manufacturing. The role also includes following ISO standards with quality inspections and documentation of all parts.

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including Doosan Lathe, Doosan Mill, Large Doosan Boring Mill, VTech Vertical Mill, Nakamura-Tome Turning Center Mill (9 axis), and Robodrill 5 Axis Mill.

Adjust program settings using GibbsCAM and ensure optimal speed and feeds for production.

Conduct quality inspections and document all parts according to ISO standards.

Interpret work orders and blueprints for efficient production processes.

Manage production runs for both short and long-term manufacturing needs.

5+ years of CNC Mill setup experience.

Ability to adjust programs and make edits in CAM software, preferably GibbsCAM.

Direct experience with computers to document quality inspection processes.

+/-.001 tolerances experience.

This is a Permanent position based out of Hanover, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00/yr.
