Position: Painter
Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm (including every other weekend)
Pay: $18 - $20 / hour
Location: Bridgewater, NJ

LAUREL CIRCLE is recruiting for a hospitality focused Painter to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining the interior of Laurel Circle in a clean and neat manner. Performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed or assigned. The Painter performs daily duties in a manner that helps to create, as well as maintain a clean, safe and friendly environment. As a frontline person, the Painter projects an image of friendliness and respect to the residents, employees, and visitors of Laurel Circle.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Painter:
  • Ability to complete and assist all on going painting projects in all areas of Laurel Circle including, but not limited to, vacant, occupied apartments and villas, common areas, hallways, offices, etc.
  • Ability to prepare weekly progress reports on painting projects and unit turnover.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures regarding maintenance and operation of equipment.
  • Assist Facility Manager in ordering and maintaining inventory supply.
  • Talk to and help outside vendors when needed and report departmental requirements to such vendors and provide feedback to supervisor about vendor performance.
  • Communicate with residents to discuss their needs and address any issues.
  • Complete regular walk throughs to ensure facility complies with all safety standards and make upgrades and repairs as needed.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of standard painting procedures.
  • Training in OSHA, NFPA, DOH regulations and Emergency Procedure Training is preferable but not required.
