Financial Analyst

We are looking for a fully remote Financial Analyst to join our client's team. While the job is remote, they'd like the candidate to be able to drive to New Orleans, Louisiana for occasional meetings and trainings. In this role, you will play a crucial part in analyzing financial data, conducting market research, and supporting the development of consulting reports. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to meaningful projects in the healthcare and financial sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and manage financial and productivity data for modeling, benchmarking, and analysis.
  • Gather and organize healthcare-related financial and operational information, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Perform in-depth market research focusing on physician specialties, medical procedures, and payor reimbursement trends.
  • Collaborate with valuation analysts to prepare financial analyses and assist in drafting sections of consulting and valuation reports.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on team needs and deadlines.
  • Maintain detailed records within the project management system to ensure accuracy and organization.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines while supporting senior team members in client relationship management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and contribute to the team's continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Stay updated on advancements in technology and software tools used in financial analysis.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while maintaining integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, with 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare, accounting, or legal settings.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize work under tight deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and tact.
    • Client-focused mindset with a proactive approach to adding value and supporting team success.
    • Expertise in financial analysis, valuation analysis, and financial modeling.
    • Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and continuous learning in a dynamic environment.
