What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and determine the costing for internal software products, focusing on cloud costs, IT infrastructure costs, and third-party software license costs
- Develop and maintain cost models to support pricing and financial planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial and operational data
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting treatments for software costs and SaaS costs
- Proficiency in costing concepts related to capacity and utilization
- Excellent Excel skills, including advanced functions and data analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with financial modeling and cost analysis
- Knowledge of cloud computing and IT infrastructure components
- Familiarity with costing analysis for the seller-side of SaaS
- Experience in Power BI, SAP, Alteryx, and Office 365
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
