**Position Overview:**
The Accounts Payable Specialist supports Accounting to maintain the integrity of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and timely. The role involves supporting AP processes across the company's entities. While based in Las Vegas, Nevada, occasional travel to the Mountain Pass, California site is expected.
**Responsibilities:**
- Code invoices, expense reports, and check requests accurately.
- Ensure coding conforms to standard procedures for proper financial system entry.
- Handle vendor correspondence.
- Investigate and resolve invoice and purchase order processing issues.
- Manage credit card program receipt verification, coding, payment, and reconciliation, adhering to company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Basic Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable experience.
