Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role reports to the US Reporting & Compliance Senior Manager and will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with US federal and state tax regulations, improving tax processes, and leveraging technology for automation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and review of US federal and state income tax compliance (including state apportionment) and income tax provisions.
- Assist with state and local tax notices and audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Focus on process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tax technology solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide support for other tax-related projects as needed (exposure to international tax, indirect tax, tax planning).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in US income tax, preferably within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
- Knowledge of US federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Prior experience with tax technology and process improvement, or a strong desire to learn and grow in this area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Power Query a plus.
