Job Opportunity

Support Functional Leader in the organization and running of the business (staff meetings, special assignments, etc.)

Execute the portfolio/business planning and scheduling process

Manage and plan assignments along with priority goals and deadlines

Lead and coordinate a variety of special assignments

Develop and conduct presentations for all levels of management

Plan and execute All People Meetings, etc.

Prepare reports and make presentations for General Motors management review and decision

Assemble and prioritize all information relevant to an assigned project and present recommendations based on analysis

Perform special studies and analysis

Collaboration with others outside the work group

Coordinate input from internal/external customers to better understand customer needs and/or perceptions

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Media and Information, Finance or related field

2+ years of relevant post-graduate work experience in sales, marketing, purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, logistics or product development

Excellent communication skills both verbal & written

Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work in ambiguous situations

Ability to coordinate activities across multiple organizations within General Motors

Project Management skills

Highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools

Strong problem-solving capability; strong analytical skills

Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills

Solid understanding of the GPSC organization

Proven capabilities in managing, analyzing, planning and scheduling processes

Strong knowledge of corporate policy and procedures

Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals required

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren, MI office three times per week, at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business.

This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
