Tax Manager

Lauterbach & Amen, LLP is a well-established CPA firm specializing in governmental accounting, auditing and financial services for municipalities, park districts, police and firefighters pension funds, school districts and other units of local government. The firm is a recognized leader in the governmental accounting industry and has grown continuously over the past twenty years.
Job Requirements
We are searching for a full-time tax specialist to join our team and assist in servicing our clients out of our Naperville office.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual, corporate and partnership tax returns including related schedules, calculations and workpapers
• Prepare and review estimated payments and extensions
• Research and analysis of tax issues on a federal, state and local level
• Correspondence with clients
• Keep up-to-date on changing tax legislation
• Other projects as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• 4-10years of experience
• CPA is highly preferred
• Experience with UltraTax is preferred but not required
• Ability to travel locally and have reliable transportation
• Willing to work additional hours during heavier tax seasons
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
