Responsible for providing assistance to related departments regarding related issues. Responsible for preparing provider-based applications and any other necessary changes related to provider enrollment for the hospitals in the System.

Education Requirements
4-year Bachelor's Degree (Required), Accounting or Finance preferred.
Experience Requirements
5 Years hospital reimbursement (Required)
5 Years hospital cost report preparation (Required)
Certifications and Licensures
Preferred Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Essential Functions
- Ensures compliance with ICTF, DSH, 340b rules and regulations while maximizing revenue.
- Leads ICTF process coordination.
- Determines intergovernmental transfer amounts and manages filings.
- Prepares annual hospital financial survey.
- Analyzes financial data for profitability, deductions, and reimbursement optimization.
- Completes reimbursement requests and collaborates with departments to maximize Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.
- Performs month-end and year-end journal entries.
- Assists in analyzing managed care contracts.
- Prepares and files government payor applications.
- Ensures accurate completion of all cost reports and maximizes revenue.
- Coordinates cost reporting and serves as a resource for rural hospitals.
- Prepares documentation for audits and keeps current on Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
