Senior Accountant
I'm partnered with the Director of Accounting & Finance on an exclusive Senior Accountant search for an exciting and rapidly growing technology & manufacturing firm located near Downers Grove, IL. With cutting edge technology and state of the art manufacturing equipment, they have taken the market by storm! Given the growth, they are looking to identify a Senior Accountant to work closely with the senior leadership team to assist with the evolving A&F function.
Job Description
- Assist in month-end close process
- Perform GL analysis
- Prepare daily reconciliations
- Initiate daily remote banking deposit
- Reconcile monthly bank accounts and off site inventory levels
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Process journal entries for GL accounts
- Update and maintain balance sheet schedules
- Assist in year-end audit preparations
- Ad hoc projects

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA or MBA a plus
- 3+ year of accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of GAAP a plus
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
- Desire to continue to grow through continuing training and development
- ERP system experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
