Licensed Vocational Nurse - PRNBring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + TogetherWork location: 5401 Long Prairie Road, Suite 100, Flower Mound, TX 75028Work hours: PRN; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday 7:45am-5:30pm, Wednesday 7:45am-12:45pmFamily Care Department Highlights:Fast paced office with multiple providers!Team members thrive working with our busy providers and officeStaff can stay organized, communicates well with patients, providers, and staffTeam player staff Here's What You NeedHigh School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)Graduate f an Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (REQUIRED)LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire (REQUIRED)ACLS or BCLS (REQUIRED)At least 3 ears of Clinical experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)Eager, Team Player that can communicate well and with a smile (STRONGLY PREFERRED)What You Will DoDelivers care to patients utilizing the LVN ProcessTriage patient calls and communicates with the providerUtilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. Performs specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of cardiology. Collects patient data such as vital signs, notes how the patient looks and acts or responds to stimuli and reports this information accordingly. Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices. Administers certain prescribed medications and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
