Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a contract position within the automotive industry, offering an opportunity to oversee critical billing and collections processes while contributing to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounts receivable management and expertise in Oracle Fusion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the accounts receivable team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and collections.
  • Manage all aspects of billing functions, including reconciliation of accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Utilize Oracle Fusion to optimize accounts receivable operations and reporting.
  • Monitor and enforce credit policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Coordinate auditing activities related to accounts receivable to uphold financial accuracy.
  • Implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve payment issues efficiently.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports on accounts receivable metrics and present findings to leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations in all accounts receivable functions.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar supervisory role.
    • Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and familiarity with its applications in financial processes.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, billing functions, and collections.
    • Ability to analyze and resolve complex financial discrepancies.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Prior experience within the franchise or automotive industry is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of credit policies and practices to support effective decision-making.
    • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
