Job Summary:
Performs precision mechanical assembly for Cooler production. Performs the required processes of cleaning, documenting, and testing of Cooler parts, subassemblies, and finished goods. Utilizes production tooling, computers, and specialized equipment required for production and material/WIP tracking. Identifies and documents discrepant material. May complete rework on discrepant material or RMA material as required. Performs final verification testing and pack-out for Cooler assemblies. Interacts with Coworkers, Managers, and Engineering for Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement efforts.
Detailed Description:
Precision mechanical assembly and precision adhesive application
Part inspection and metrology including the use of microscopes
Operation of Cryogenic purge and fill systems
Use of multi-meters and precision test equipment
Use of thermal and environmental chambers
Helium leak detection using helium mass spectrometer
Set up of test equipment per test specifications
Perform measurements and tests from test procedures and document results
Complete required documentation for travelers and computer WIP tracking
Documentation and/or Rework of discrepant material
Aqueous ultrasonic cleaning operations
Miscellaneous support functions, as necessary
Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience in the following required:
Able to speak, read, and write in English
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
Knowledge and Experience in the following desired:
Basic computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word
Operation of Cryogenic purge and fill systems
Aqueous Ultrasonic Cleaning
Helium Leak Detection experience
Clean room protocol knowledge
Handling ESD sensitive hardware
Cooler Assembly and/or Cooler/Dewar integration
Able to read & work to engineering documentation
Use of metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
Salary Range:
$37,200.00-$49,600.00
