EAH serves automotive enthusiasts passionate about vehicle customization and performance, providing parts, content, and support. It also supports a global network of specialty installer shops.

Owned by Cortec Group, EAH has invested heavily in expanding its operations, facilities, and technology, including recent facility expansion and enterprise-level systems implementation. The company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its growth. This position is based at EAHs headquarters in Wadsworth, Ohio, reporting to the Controller.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will provide financial information to management, ensure data integrity, and support various accounting functions. The role requires a detailed understanding of US GAAP and experience in manufacturing/distribution environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monthly close cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Maintain and reconcile transactions like cash, fixed assets, payroll, and accruals
  • Ensure integrity of accounting data by resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare entries for assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenses
  • Maintain CIP activities and reconcile sales tax data with Avalara
  • Support external audits with schedules and documentation
  • Assist with cross-department financial requests
Compliance and Control
  • Enforce internal controls and processes to protect assets
  • Enhance documentation and reconciliation for internal controls
  • Coordinate tax return filings with leadership
Reporting / Analysis
  • Support financial position analysis and variance reporting
  • Advise management on operational issues
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related
  • CPA preferred, MBA a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of senior accounting experience
  • Strong GAAP knowledge
  • ERP experience, NetSuite preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Adaptability to changing priorities
  • Experience in manufacturing/distribution sectors
  • Analytical, organized, detail-oriented, with high integrity
