Position Overview
Under minimal supervision, operate cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality echocardiographic images for the diagnostic evaluation of chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures to obtain optimal echocardiographic images for diagnostic purposes.
• Evaluate chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function.
• Work with a diverse patient population, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Ensure that all images meet diagnostic standards and are suitable for interpretation.
  

Required Qualifications

• Education and certification to meet necessary qualifications.
• National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or equivalent certification.
• National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• At least 1 year of neonatal and pediatric experience with a minimum of 150 supervised pediatric echocardiograms.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification in Pediatrics.
