(SWAI), a registered investment advisor and an affiliate of Charles Schwab & Co. Inc.
As a Senior Manager, Alternative Investment Consultant (AIC), you will play a critical role in helping our ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) retail clients navigate the private alternative investment landscape and incorporate this asset class into their overall wealth management. You will deliver a premium alternative investment experience to clients with sophisticated needs, interested in private equity, private credit, hedge funds, private real estate, and similar investments. If you are passionate about advising and educating clients, guiding them to meet their goals, and working cross-functionally within a dynamic, impactful team, this may be the role for you.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years in a client-facing role within Financial Services
- Bachelors Degree required
- Series 7 license required (may be obtained with a 90-day COE)
- Series 66 license required (may be obtained with a 180-day COE)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advice experience in Alternative Investments strongly preferred
- Understanding of investment lifecycle, risk, and portfolio modeling
- Knowledge of tax issues and liquidity management
- Advanced education or professional designations preferred
- CAIA or CFA, or progress towards, highly desirable
- Familiarity with industry databases/tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Inquisitive, analytical, strategic thinker, proactive, solutions-oriented
- High-energy, positive, entrepreneurial spirit, goal-oriented, results-driven
- Self-starter: takes initiative and works independently
- Well-organized, disciplined, with high attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable across various business domains
