Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for a Home Attendant to join our Wildflower Court team!
Wildflower Court is a long-term care facility located in beautiful Juneau, Alaska. Our care creates the conditions of a home rather than an institution. Job Summary:
Incumbents provide a variety of unlicensed tasks to the residents of Wildflower Court under the direction of the Lead Home Attendant. Home Attendants may assist residents with housekeeping, light meal preparation, light errands, assisting with transportation, and other duties as assigned.
In lieu of fringe benefits, Casual Employees will be paid a $2.00 per hour differential on top of their base rate of pay.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience caring for the elderly or disabled or providing care in a medical facility.
- Current State of Alaska Drivers License.
- Certifications: Reference Mandatory Education Policy upon hire. Alaska Food Worker Cards are required for all Wildflower Court employees within 30 days of hire.
Internal Hires:
Step placement and pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
External Hires:
Step placement and pay rate will be determined based on relevant experience.

- All new employees are required to produce a negative drug screen for all illegal substances in the State of Alaska prior to start of employment.
