We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Managing Director in developing and managing financial models that drive operational oversight, budget adherence, investment decisions, and covenant compliance. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in analytical environments and is ready to take full ownership of financial planning and analysis.
Requirements
This individual will serve as the financial modeling lead across the enterprise, working directly with the Managing Director to build and maintain high-precision tools in support of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and investment evaluation.
They will be responsible for turning raw data into insights, building flexible forecasting tools, monitoring performance against plan, and helping drive data-informed decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills in Excel and be comfortable using tools to automate reporting, streamline modeling processes, and connect data across systems. They will have a passion for building scalable models that improve financial visibility and operational control.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Modeling and Forecasting
- Build, maintain, and improve dynamic Excel models for cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and operational tracking
- Develop store-level and consolidated forecasts, with sensitivity toggles and driver-based assumptions
- Structure financial tools that support proactive decision-making and day-to-day performance management
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Track performance against budget and generate monthly variance analysis
- Identify cost trends, operational inefficiencies, and margin drivers
- Maintain accurate models to monitor financial covenant compliance across multiple lending facilities
- Prepare lender-ready financial reports and support documentation
- Proactively flag risks and support mitigation planning
- Build and evaluate financial models for new investments, acquisitions, and capital projects
- Develop concise financial summaries and visualizations that translate complex models into actionable insights for leadership
- Assist in evaluating potential growth opportunities, capital deployment strategies, and financial risks across the portfolio
- Automate recurring reports and streamline file management using available tools and scripts
- Connect models with accounting, POS, and HR systems to improve reliability and timeliness
- Support dashboarding or visualization tools to help communicate key metrics to stakeholders
The ideal candidate is a technically strong and self-directed analyst with deep experience in Excel and a working knowledge of automation or data tools. They thrive in fast-moving environments, care deeply about precision, and enjoy building models that create clarity, accountability, and operational excellence.
They are a trustworthy, low-maintenance partner who can translate complex data into clean outputs and who takes full ownership of the financial tools that support the leadership team.
Qualifications
- 3 to 8 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or similar analytical roles
- Advanced Excel skills required (including Power Query, pivot tables, scenario modeling, etc.)
- Experience with Python, Power BI, VBA, SQL, or similar tools for automation and analysis is a strong plus
- Experience supporting multi-location operations or franchised businesses preferred
- Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting principles, and operating metrics
- Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and detail-driven
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Masters a plus)
