Nuclear Med Tech - CV Outpatient Imaging
Location: Piedmont Newnan Hospital
Shift: Days
Status: PRN (Must be able to work 6 shifts per month)
Department: CV Outpatient Imaging
Responsible for: Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all protocols, policies, and procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required: Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
Minimum Experience Required: Must have two years of experience as a Nuclear Med Tech.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.
Additional Qualifications: BLS Certified. Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
