Part-Time Nanny Position
A loving family on the Upper West Side of Manhattan is looking for a part-time nanny for their two children. The children are two years and six years of age. This is a Monday through Friday role with hours of 2pm-6pm. Both children attend school during the school year and camps during the summers. The ideal candidate has some flexibility and can work additional hours from time to time. Assisting with promoting social and emotional development is of the utmost importance. This role has a September start date.
Responsibilities
- Pick up children from school; walk and/or public transportation
- Assist with after school activities; play-dates, classes, homework and preparing for following day
- Prepare and feed children healthy snacks and dinner
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment for family (family has housekeeper for deep cleaning)
- Assist with laundry
Qualifications
- Kind and nurturing
- Comfortable on public transportation
- Pro-active in coordination of play dates and age-appropriate activities and classes
Requirements
- Legal to work in US
- Experience with siblings
Salary and Benefits
$40-$45/hr based on experience
