We're looking for a highly analytical and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of an iconic global brand through strategic forecasting, business partnering, and high-impact analysis. You'll work cross-functionally with product development, R&D, IT, HR, and legal teams, while gaining visibility with our executive leadership and private equity partners. Monday and Friday are remote, Tuesday through Thursday are in-office collaboration days.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:

  1. Lead Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting:
  • Lead quarterly and annual financial forecasts across global regions, with a focus on OPEX-providing high visibility into business performance and priorities
  • Consolidate FP&A outputs into clear, executive-level financial packages and presentations
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of Longview financial data
  • Translate actuals and forecasts into meaningful insights that inform decision-making and drive accountability
  • Track and report on key financial metrics, including revenue, contribution margin, OPEX, and EBITDA
  • Partner Across the Business:
    • Act as the primary FP&A partner for Product Development, R&D, IT, HR, and Legal
    • Financial modeling of new product ROI and profitability
    • Budget management for spending and capital investments
    • Build trusted relationships with business leaders and help them understand and manage their financial performance
    • Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close to ensure accurate results and provide timely insights on performance drivers
  • Own Acquisition Requests (AR):
    • Own the corporate AR process for capital and non-headcount expenses, ensuring timely approval workflows, clean documentation, and alignment to budget targets
    • Support business leaders in building financially sound business cases that drive strategic investments
  • Drive Strategic Projects and Analysis:
    • Lead or support high-impact initiatives that require structured financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance tracking
    • Conduct regional and functional profitability analysis to identify key drivers, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Improve Systems & Processes:
    • Continuously improve forecasting and reporting workflows by partnering with RevOps, IT, Accounting, and cross-functional stakeholders
    • Enhance reporting capabilities in Power BI, Longview, Oracle, and Excel to increase automation, accuracy, and impact
    • Develop and maintain user-friendly templates for budget submissions and executive reporting
  • Support Executives with Insights:
    • Craft clear, concise, and compelling financial narratives for senior leadership and private equity stakeholders
    • Present insights with confidence and clarity, helping executives focus on what matters most
    • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations to influence strategic decision-making

    What Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is looking for in our Senior Financial Analyst:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA a plus
    • 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial consulting
    • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
    • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ideally within a mid-to-large corporate environment
    • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence business decisions through thoughtful analysis
    • Advanced Excel skills are essential - certification is a plus; proficiency in financial systems such as Longview, Oracle, and Power BI are a plus
    • Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to focus on the bigger picture and key business drivers
