The Role - Financial Planner:
We seek a knowledgeable, client-focused Financial Planner to join our growing team. This role offers flexibility for established planners and rising professionals: you may bring your book of business and receive compensation based on generated GDC, or opt for a salaried structure designed to support entrepreneurial-minded individuals as they grow their client base within the firm.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about guiding clients toward long-term financial security and retirement readiness. Youll work collaboratively with a team of advisors, support staff, and operational specialists to deliver customized financial planning solutions, manage client relationships, and uphold the high standards of care our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Comprehensive Financial Plans using RSCs EASE process (Envision, Analyze, Solutions, (re)Evaluate) to guide client conversations and recommendations.
- Conduct Client Meetings to assess goals, present strategies, and monitor progress.
- Utilize Redtail CRM to manage tasks, document client interactions, and track planning milestones.
- Implement Planning Strategies and ensure timely execution with support from internal teams.
- Maintain Compliance and Accuracy through proper documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with Advisors and Staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service across the client experience.
- Adjust Plans as Needed based on life changes, market conditions, or evolving client objectives.
About You:
- Client-focused, organized, and driven to help individuals achieve financial security.
- Value structure and are committed to following the EASE planning process .
- Comfortable using Redtail CRM and staying on top of details and deadlines.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Clear communicator and proactive problem-solver.
- Have an existing book of business or are growth-minded and ready to build with support.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
- CFP designation preferred (or actively pursuing certification)
- 4+ years of experience in financial planning or wealth management
- Familiarity with financial planning tools; Redtail CRM experience preferred
- Strong understanding of retirement planning, investments, and tax considerations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and client service mindset
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 65/63) and CA Insurance Life and Disability Licenses
