**Position Summary**
Supports the Credit and A/R Department by processing customer payments promptly, resolving payment issues, and providing accounting and administrative support.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
- Post payments to customer accounts (Lockbox, credit card)
- Resolve transaction issues with customers
- Process credit card charges and post to accounts
- Complete ACH form requests
- Write-offs as necessary
- Complete customer vouchers and statements
- Scan customer checks to the bank
- Assist with customer inquiries and internal questions
- Make commission adjustments for write-offs
- Support satellite offices with check scanning
- Process NSF checks and overpayment refunds
- Manage credit card disputes and documentation
- Answer department voicemail
- Maintain positive communication with customers and colleagues
- Assist the department as directed by the Credit Manager
**Requirements**
High School diploma or GED, basic accounting skills, ability to meet deadlines, multitasking, customer service skills, independent work capability, basic Excel knowledge, minimum 1 year in cash application, credit card processing experience preferred.
