Business Process Analyst - Workforce Planning Technology (SAC)

Boston Scientific is seeking a detail-oriented Business Process Analyst to join our HR Technology team. In this hybrid role, you will be the functional expert in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for Operational Workforce Planning (OWP), partnering with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable workforce planning models, data-driven insights, and innovative SAC system solutions.

Your expertise will help Boston Scientific make informed workforce decisions that drive operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and support our mission to advance science for life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the functional expert for SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Operational Workforce Planning (OWP), leading configuration and system enhancement efforts.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and business units to translate workforce planning requirements into SAC dashboards, models, and planning templates.
  • Manage and optimize data models, hierarchies, and integrations between SAC, SAP SuccessFactors, Finance systems, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Drive headcount forecasting, operational planning, and what-if scenario modeling cycles.
  • Perform thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of configuration changes to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  • Develop process documentation, user guides, and training materials to support system adoption.
  • Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and stay current with the SAC roadmap and best practices.

Required qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree (e.g., Business, Information Systems, HR, Analytics, or another relevant discipline).
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an HR or IT systems capacity.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC); experience with SAC Planning and/or Workforce Planning.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and integration between SuccessFactors and SAC.
  • Experience performing data analysis with large datasets.
  • Ability to translate documented business requirements into system configurations (SAC models, dashboards, data flows).
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration with HR, Finance, IT, and business partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, MS in Information Systems, Human Resources, Data Analytics).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and workforce planning processes.
  • Technical proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) scripting and data modeling.
  • Experience collaborating and building consensus within a global, matrixed organization.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
