Senior Accountant

Job Summary: The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing core accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing cost analysis. This position is responsible for accurate financial reporting, maintaining inventory valuation, analyzing production costs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support decision-making, budgeting, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Perform general accounting duties including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Analyze and report on manufacturing costs and inventory valuation. Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support budgeting and forecasting. Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel functions to manage and analyze financial data. Support audits and assist in the development of internal controls. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 58 years of progressive general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of cost and inventory accounting principles. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: CPA or CMA certification.
