Get to Know Your Team: * Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more. Responsibilities * Position will cover about 50% of the time in an Outpatient setting and 50% in Acute Care. * Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition. * Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient/family. * Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. * Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel. * Provide education to patients, families and staff members as necessary for the attainment of treatment goals. * Maintain accurate and timely patient and personal records. * Participate in performance improvement process as it relates to departmental, site and network functions. * Participate in selection of new team members and assist with peer review of performance as needed. * Perform other duties as assigned. * May be required to be "on-call." Qualifications Job Requirements: * Bachelor's Level Degree * License to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire * BLS certification thru American Heart Association Preferred Job Requirements: * Master's and/or doctorate degree * 2 years’ experience
