The role of a Project/Program Manager (Non-IT) involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out. This position focuses on managing non-IT based projects effectively.
Responsibilities
Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
Analyze technology resource needs and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Essential Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
Time management skills.
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
PMI or PMP certification preferred.
5-7 years of experience in project coordination, PowerBI, and project planning.
Knowledge of Primavera and PowerBI.
Work Environment
The position requires working onsite five days a week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
