Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Forklift Driver :
Operate a 4-way rotating forklift to safely load and unload scrap metal materials onto and from trucks, containers, bins, and designated storage areas.
Perform manual tasks such as filling and dumping material bins, Identify, sort, and organize metal materials based on type and grade, ensuring proper storage and minimizing contamination.
Conduct thorough pre-operational inspections of the forklift and promptly report any mechanical or electrical difficulties to the supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall recycling operations, including assisting with yard cleanup, maintenance, and facility organization
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating forklifts, with specific experience operating 4-way rotating forklifts in a metal recycling or similar industrial environment.
Proficient in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Experience handling various types of scrap materials (metal, bales of paper/plastic, etc.) is highly preferred.
Drug Test Required
