Lead and support your team to meet and exceed quality and safety standards. Keep accurate records of income, expenses, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software. Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions while fulfilling dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher duties as necessary. Effectively communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff. Utilize protective gear and ensure the safe handling of cleaning solutions while promptly reporting equipment needs or malfunctions. Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality while ensuring timely task completion. Foster positive interactions with all team members, supervisors, and guests. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required. Preferred Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, with relevant coursework. Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred. Obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within the first 14 days of employment. Obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM) certifications within the first 60 days of employment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with all stakeholders. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies required. Ability to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, standing, bending, sitting, and walking for extended periods. Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously. Basic computer skills needed for record-keeping and reporting. Residency within the service area required. Ready to Join Us?
