Job Details
* Design, program, and sustain PLC-based systems and migrate them to embedded controls. * Develop and interpret schematics, BOMs, wiring, PCB designs, and assembly drawings. * Specify and validate motors, sensors, VFDs, and other control components. * Support production testing, compliance reports (e.g., ETL, CE), installation guides, and field service. * Troubleshoot electrical/control issues and deliver training for internal teams and customers.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent discipline. * 5+ years in electrical design, industrial controls, or automation. * Hands-on experience programming PLCs using ladder logic. * Proven ability in electrical systems design and development. * Experience with VFDs, motor control, power distribution, and exposure to embedded systems design or troubleshooting. * Proficiency with MS Office and strong project management skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Willingness to travel occasionally.
Desired Experience:
* Troubleshooting control systems. * Working in distribution centers or industrial environments. * Experience with ECM motors and VFDs. * Familiarity with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD tools. * Exposure to Altium Designer and C programming. * Experience with testing documents and reviewing industry standards.
