Job Summary
As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences for various audiences. You will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and implement instructional materials and courses that enhance learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Needs Analysis: Conduct assessments to identify learning needs and gaps within the organization or educational institution. Curriculum Development: Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, lesson plans, assessments, and multimedia content. Learning Experience Design: Apply instructional design principles and theories to create interactive and engaging learning experiences. Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to gather content and ensure accuracy. Technology Integration: Utilize various e-learning tools and technologies (e.g., LMS, authoring tools) to deliver and enhance learning experiences. Evaluation: Develop assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of instructional materials and make improvements based on feedback. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Training and Support: Provide training and support to instructors and learners on the use of instructional materials and technology. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field; Masters degree preferred. Experience: Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a related area. Skills: Proficiency in instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM). Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate). Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform design decisions. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional strategies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a specific industry (e.g., corporate training, K-12 education, higher education). Familiarity with graphic design software and multimedia production. Certification in instructional design or related fields. Work Environment This position is typically remote but may require occasional in-person meetings or training sessions.
