Senior Data Analyst

to provide advanced analytical support to the

Narcotics and Transnational Crime Support Center (NTC)

in Arlington, VA. This role is integral to U.S. and partner-nation efforts to counter drug trafficking, transnational organized crime (TOC), and related illicit activities that threaten the security, health, and safety of the American people. The Department of Defense (DoD), as the lead federal agency for detection and monitoring of aerial and maritime transit of illicit drugs into the United States, partners closely with law enforcement and intelligence agencies to combat these threats. The Senior Data Analyst will support these efforts by transforming complex, multi-source datasets into actionable intelligence products that inform high-stakes operations and investigations. This position requires close collaboration with interagency and international partners, including the Department of Justice (DoJ), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Secret Service, Department of the Treasury, and IRS Criminal Investigations. Primary Responsibilities Process, cleanse, and normalize large, complex datasets from law enforcement (LE), intelligence community (IC), and partner-nation sources. i2 Analyst's Notebook . Automate analytical workflows to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-insight for operational teams. Integrate structured and unstructured datasets to reveal hidden patterns, anomalies, and network linkages related to narcotics trafficking and TOC. Train analysts and stakeholders in analytic tools, methodologies, and best practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

and

at least 12 years of professional experience (or 17 years combined military and professional experience). Proven proficiency in

Power BI ,

Power Query ,

Python , and network analysis tools. Demonstrated experience integrating, cleansing, and analyzing large datasets from LE and IC sources. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expertise in statistical modeling, data visualization, and automation scripting. Ability to detect correlations, trends, and anomalies in multi-source datasets. Strong understanding of data governance, normalization standards, and analytic quality control. Excellent communication skills for presenting complex analytical findings to both technical and operational audiences.
