Position Summary: ERSEA Manager is responsible for planning and administering program services for children and families in accordance with Head Start regulations. This individual participates in program planning and decision-making and is a member of the program's administrative team. This position is responsible for coordinating social service activities; establishing contacts and making referrals to community resources; and supervising direct reports. Essential Functions: The duties identified below are the essential functions of the position. Maintain records and reporting systems, including written plans, schedules, timelines, policies and procedures for family and community partnership services in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and applicable laws and regulations. Plan, develop, and administer the Bauer Family Engagement program, ensuring an integrated and comprehensive system of services for children and families. Oversee work tasks and activities within the Family Engagement Worker Team to ensure the full delivery of integrated services. Supervise and oversee the work tasks and activities of the ERSEA Team to ensure compliance with Head Start standards. Oversee implementation of the PFCE framework to ensure systematic Lead and ensure completion of the annual Community Assessment update project and publication Ensure effective transition planning for children and families. Ensure on-going monitoring, tracking, follow-up and analysis of family and Lead and ensure completion of the annual Program Information Report (PIR). Ensure coordination of communication with staff, families, program consultants Collaborate with state and community partners, establishing and maintaining MOU's to enhance program services. Assist in planning and preparing special program events or activities Ensure relevant annual pre-service and monthly professional development for Family Engagement and ERSEA Teams. Generate and capture allowable In-Kind/Non-Federal Share to ensure program viability. Create, organize, and order recruitment materials needing to advertise services the program offers. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skill required. The individual must be able to successfully pass routine background checks. Education/Certification/Licensure: Bachelor's degree in education, early childhood development, sociology, or other related field Must be able to maintain a valid Indiana driver's license and meet the insurance requirements of the carrier.
