Travel Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist - Polysomnography

American Traveler is seeking a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist with at least 1 year of experience working with pediatric and adult patients and Epic charting proficiency.Job Details•Position based in an acute care hospital setting,•Assignment involves working with both pediatric and adult populations,•Adult patient ratio is 1:2, pediatric ratio is 1:1,•Specialized equipment includes Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units,•Shifts are four 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM,•Every other weekend coverage required,•Floating required within hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed,•Epic EMR experience required,Job Requirements•Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Polysomnographer or Sleep Technologist,•Current BLS certification required,•Valid CA license required if applicable,•Either RPSGT or RRT with SDS credential required,•Epic charting experience required,•Must provide two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last three years in a similar specialty/setting,Additional Information•Duties include conducting sleep studies and operating specialized sleep lab equipment,•Professional attire; no specific scrub color required,•Free parking available on site,•Must be able and willing to float to nearby affiliate facilities as necessary,•First-time travelers are welcome to apply,•Holidays: Must be available to work at least 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year),•Modules required to be completed pre-start and annually,•Return policy: former employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler,•50-mile radius rule applies for local candidates; locals accepted at a different rate,•RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at time of application,],•hash,:•15545825935447666744,
