Job Overview
As a Retail Sales Mobile Associate, you will be a key member of our Retail Team of Experts, embodying the T-Mobile brand as a passionate ambassador. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations and customer needs are ever-evolving. Your goal will be to build meaningful connections with our customers and deepen existing relationships through personalized solutions.
This role is designed for learning and growth, where you will develop skills and competencies in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. You will need to complete new employee training successfully.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world-class experience and building loyalty.
Assist customers in resuming their shopping journey and explore individual needs by offering hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology.
Collaborate with team members to find personalized solutions that enhance customer connectivity, including accessories and IoT devices.
Provide service and sales support with integrity, compassion, and composure.
Become skilled in using digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services tailored to customer needs.
Complete training on T-Mobile's in-store experience, skills, processes, and resource knowledge.
Utilize downtime efficiently to learn about innovations in wireless and technology.
Partner with T-Mobile employees across channels to collectively enhance the customer experience and resolve issues.
Identify and handoff small business leads and support team initiatives to foster an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience:
High School Diploma/GED (Required)
6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Passionate advocate for customers with a fun approach to connecting.
Competitive drive and successful history in a fast-paced sales environment.
Willingness to collaborate with peers and leaders, enhancing customer service.
Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals effectively.
Licenses and Certifications:
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation:
Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Upon successful completion of the first 90 days, Mobile Associates promote to Mobile Expert and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year, with actual incentives varying based on performance and status. All employees at T-Mobile earn a minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of base pay and incentives. Additionally, every employee is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
