$84k - $105k based on experience

Responsibilities Hours of operation:

8:30am - 5pm

JOB SUMMARY

Serves as a professional leader in assessing, planning, guiding and evaluating patient care.

Interacts with management, physicians, and field staff utilizing a teamwork approach.

Assists with training, and evaluation of all team clinical personnel; and maintenance/development of the clinical record.

Qualifications

Education/Regulatory Requirements:

Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.

BSN preferred

Hospice certification preferred.

Current Basic Life Support Certification.

Skills:

One year of recent hospice, oncology, medical/surgical, or home health, public/health, geriatric care experience preferred.

Expertise in support skills, palliative care, and educational techniques.

Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.

Demonstrates organizational, administrative and personnel management skills.

Understanding of and ability to apply characteristics of Hospice Nursing: case management, crisis intervention, communication skills, teaching skills, thanatology skills and needs.

Professional Requirements:

Communicates clearly and effectively in writing and orally.

Able to work well under stress and deadlines.

Language Skills:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
