Responsibilities Assists in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a physically present and immediately available Registered Nurse/ OB Provider. Held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization.

This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs, CPR, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy

Assists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs

Assists with patient transports and transfers

Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider’s orders, electronic data entry, and assist with documentation

Assists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies

Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies

Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures

Qualifications Required Licensure and Certifications

Certified Nurse Assistant; North Dakota, required upon hire.

American Hearth Association Basic Life Support (BLS)-CPR, within 30 days of start.
